Top Photos and Reasons Why Not Visit Camotes Island on Summer

Of course, if you are not reading the content of this article, then you probably sharing the link with rude posts on your Social Media Accounts. But now that I got your attention, let me share to you why we need to visit and enjoy the beautiful island of Camotes. Last Saturday, FaceCebu and friends, toured Camotes in a day. We did fall in love to the place, to the locals and of course to the great spots that every Tourists or people from neighboring Regions should experience and visit. Known as "The Lost Horizon of the South", Camotes has been a tourist destination due to its clear seawater, white sands, dive sites, Lakes, Spring, Caves and other natural attractions on land.

How to get to Camotes Island?

From Cebu City, take a bus or jeepney to Danao City Port. You might also want to consider riding a Taxi ( 355-450 PHP Rate) Travel Time: 1 Hour or less

From Danao City Port, take a public boat going to Camotes. Usually, destination of this Boat is Port of Consuelo, in the town of San Francisco, Pacijan Island. Fare is 180-200. Travel time: 2 Hours or Less

From Port of Consuelo, you can ride a motorcycle or "Habal-Habal" going to your chosen Resort. Fare is PHP 50 with travel time of 30-45 minutes depending on the Resort's location.
