It was 4:55 in the morning when my friends and I were done with last-minute packing and routines prior to going to Narita Airport. It was raining hard and the wind blew so cold but it did not stop us arriving at Shinjuku Station and purchased a Narita Express ticket using our Suica Card. I thought to myself and smiled, "I bet she had a happy shopping in the past days, just like what we had last night at Don Quijote."

When my friends and I visited Japan last October, we visited the biggest Starbucks branch in the World at that time. I intentionally put this Starbucks Reserve branch in our 10-day itinerary because seeing some videos and reviews online excites us. Yes, I am talking about The Tokyo Roastery situated in Meguro City in Tokyo.

The Starbucks Reserve Tokyo Roastery is a four-story building located beside the famous Meguro River which has a nice view of Cherry Blossoms during the Sakura season in Japan. The next day after arrival in Japan was our official "Laag" moments! As I planned out itinerary, I considered the 7-Day Japan Rail Pass we purchased in Klook. So, we decided to visit first the farthest prefecture from our current location which was Osaka. That one day visit to the historical Hiroshima was indeed one of the most memorable ones!

What do we expect in Hiroshima?

It is in Hiroshima prefecture I witnessed firsthand a beautiful castle. This historical place brought so many memories to all people worldwide. My friends and I visited Hiroshima in just one day from Osaka, so we chose the most famous tourist destinations. So, what do we expect in Hiroshima, Japan? Here are some destinations that you can actually visit but since we lacked time, we decided to head directly to the famous Miyajima Island.

From Hiroshima, we used our JR Pass to visit Itsukushima Island (Miyajima). You can use the Navitime mobile app for a true and quick guide going there. It's just 2 hours of travel from Hiroshima and trust me, all worth it!

But when we visited Miyajima, my friend told me about the repair of going to the iconic floating Torrii Gate but I still insisted to come to the island for experience and indeed, I love it there. By the way, you cannot get a good shot of the Torrii Gate because everything was covered with Scaffolding so better enjoy the sceneries, talk to the locals, witness some traditions inside the castle and of course, you better try their street food and that yummy matcha ice cream!

You can actually visit a number of Tourist spots in Miyajima Island but again, we promised to visit at least two-three spots in each prefecture, so we decided to go home after sunset. And if you are asking if there was a sunset view? It was raining so no sun was showing.

Trekking, hiking and some random walks or jogs really is a stress reliever. Cebu has a lot of mountains or hills to climb and enjoy but last weekend, I chose to grace a special invite to do overnight camping at the highest Peak of Bohol, Mayana Peak from a good friend, Geezelle of Geemiz.com who is celebrating her birthday today as I am writing this article. Happy Birthday my Love!

We took the morning Oceanjet trip going to Bohol from Pier 1 of Cebu City Port. And we discovered that if you decided not to bring your car to Bohol (or any regions outside Cebu), you can actually pay an overnight plus total hours parking fee at the St. Joseph Church near Pier 1. The guard is so accommodating!

We arrived in Tagbilaran City, Bohol by before lunchtime and then we headed directly to Geezelle's house in Jagna to do some quick rest and prepare our stuff for overnight camping. Everyone was so excited. So speaking of Mayana Peak, it is considered as the highest peak in the province of Bohol with 820m above sea level elevation. I can compare her beauty to Cebu's Mt. Manunggal. Before going to the very peak, there's a place where the locals set as the camping site and then you can walk for 25-30 minutes up to the very peak. This is very the same as Mt. Manunggal. But their difference is, Mayana Peak is very very cold at night. I underestimate her by just wearing sleeveless and shorts for overnight camping - such a bad idea! Also, Mayana Peak is very clean! It is well preserved and ate Merilyn really did a good job while she used to work as a Barangay councilor for 11 years.

What to expect in Mayana Peak?

Everything is special in Mayana Peak. My friends got to witness the strange appearance of a monkey last Saturday. Also, per Ate Merilyn, there are wild cats in the forest which consumed some beans for food. We also spotted a carnivorous plant - a pitcher plant. During at night, you will surely notice a number of fireflies around the camp site. So I think, Mayana Peak has a lot to offer to nature lovers out there! And the plus point here is at the peak, SUN and SMART subscribers are really loving the 4G LTE SIGNAL at the TOP!!!! So, yes, you can do LIVE video or just update your love ones about this beautiful scenery!

Last weekend, I got a chance to visit the Capital together with my officemate-friends. HOW TO CASH IN USING 7-ELEVEN BARCODE

Open the GCash App and input MPIN. (MPIN is Mobile Personal Identification Number, a four-digit passcode that you will use to authenticate your GCash transactions.)

Choose 7-Eleven Barcode
