UNIQLO’s down recycle program, which started from September 2019, to last until March 2020, has so far collected 620,000 pieces of down outerwear. The collected down will be reused as part of new recycled down products from this season.

[October 19, 2019] Another day in the land of the rising sun, Japan! This time we went to a famous park in Nara prefecture, Nara Park. This famous green park in the central-southern part of Japan is well-known for its Deers. Just when we're on our way to the park, we can already see a number of Deers on the streets that's why Nara in general is the home of Japan's lovely Deers. We spent the whole day just walking around Nara Park and of course, tasting some ice cream in the corner. 

WHAT TO EXPECT IN NARA PARK?

Aside from the hundreds of Deers, Nara Park is also known for its main attractions such as Todaiji, Kasuga Taisha, Kofukuji, and the Nara National Museum. You can buy deer crackers inside the park or just around the corner but here's an important reminder, make sure to hide all the food and other edible stuff you are bringing because the Deers will surely grab them from you in no time!

When we visited Nara Park, we already checked-in to our Tokyo Hostel so we spent at least half of the half-day traveling from Tokyo to Nara Park. Here my personal choice to watch this coming Halloween Season. I already watched 8 out of 10 movies from this list with family and I assure you, the kids in the house would really be happily scared. Enjoy!

10. The Haunted Mansion 2003

International market research firms Canalys, IDC and Counterpoint Research all confirm the two-year-old brand’s local market lead in their Q3 reports.

Global market intelligence firm IDC reported realme Philippines achieved staggering 962.5 percent annual growth and captured 25.4 percent local market share this third quarter.

realme Philippines’ leading local market position is further corroborated by global technology market analyst firm Canalys, which in early November reported a 25 percent market share and 531 percent year-on-year growth for realme Philippines, the fastest quarterly growth a smartphone vendor has attained in the Philippine market this year.

Counterpoint Research also reported the same local market position for realme Philippines, which entered the country in November 2018.

In Latin America, another brandy product under Grupo Emperador Spain, Brandy Domecq, is already dominating the brandy market in Colombia with a 91% market share.

Brandy Domecq also has a strong presence across other Latin American countries, particularly in Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Panama, Aruba, and Brazil.

“Just like in Mexico where we have dominated the market share for brandy, we have also seen steady growth in Colombia’s brandy market in the last five years. As their economy improves, more and more people are upgrading to brandy from their local white drink called Aguardiente. We remain focused on further expanding our presence across Latin America by also introducing our imported brandy products, particularly the Philippine-made Emperador Brandy, because the taste preference for brandy in this region has been remarkably growing,” Vilardell further explains.  

During the first nine months of the year, Emperador’s international business boosted its net income by 11% to P5.9-billion. In the third quarter alone, the company achieved a record growth of 26% in its earnings due to the surge in the demand for its products in various overseas markets even in the middle of the pandemic.
