Pangasinan's Mysterious Skin Disease and Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj Prophecy

ABS-CBN Late Night newscast Bandila aired on Monday, February 24, regarding this mysterious disease in the Ilocos Region of the Philippines, Pangasinan.  This scary news which allegedly  consumed the flesh of men (rot the skin and flesh) and will pierce through the bones. There was a scary thought connecting this incident to the prophecy of Vincent Selvakumar and Jesus Ministries founder Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj on April 2013 at Cuneta Astrodome during their 24th National Prayer Gathering.

UPDATE from INQUIRER.net

"There is no truth to a rumor that a flesh-eating disease is spreading in the province," said Pangasinan provincial health officer Dr. Anna De Guzman in INQUIRER.net interview

De Guzman clarified that the first patient from Santa Barbara was a leper who suffered from an adverse reaction from a drug.

Meanwhile, the second patient from Villasis is ailed with psoriasis, the doctor added

She said the two cases were not that of the rare necrotizing fasciitis, a serious bacterial infection that spreads rapidly and destroys the body’s soft tissue, according to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Screenshot of Bandila's News
Bandila posted in Social Media status via Facebook (TOP) and in twitter (BELOW)

Check this Bandila News Video and next is the full Prophecy video and if you like, hop to 4:40 min which Pangasinan was mentioned.

It was noted that Prophet Sadhu became famous on this prophecy especially on Japan's Tsunami, Pampanga's Lahar and the recently Yolanda's devastation to Visayas area.  It was also mentioned that it will spread to Cebu (See below video)

#PrayforPangasinan tops Twitter's Hashtag list.

Is the prophecy coming true? True or not, let us pray and hope this won't continue to happen. Let us hear your voice...

Proper hygiene chooses no gender and yes, Men need to do regular inspection to our feet, toes and fingernails. In this way, we can defend ourselves against bacteria and nail fungus. But wait, we can also enjoy and pamper ourselves while someone is doing the nail care for us but is it hard finding the right Nail Salon? What is the most important thing to look for when choosing a nail salon?

Beauty and Butter Cool Art

It seems like an unlikely journey, but for some, finding the perfect nail salon means going all over the Metro, hopping from one shop to another, until they find the one they like the most—it can either be the one with the most number of available polishes, the friendliest staff, the warmest environment, the one with the most reasonable prices and so on.

Customers at Beauty And Butter SM City Cebu

Picking a salon to trust with your precious hands and feet should be a well thought of process.  Aside from having a roster of well-trained staff, one thing a person in search for a go-to salon really needs to check is the cleanliness of the facility. Yes, we mean including the sterilization of tools.
In efforts to continuously delight clients and improve services, Beauty and Butter has gone the extra mile in providing a heavenly clean environment to its customers. The brand’s four-step nail tools sterilization process provides clients with a more hygienic nail care experience. This sterilization system effectively reduces the chance of contracting any nail or skin infection during treatments.

The 5 step sterilization process goes as follows:
•    Wash tools with soap & warm water. Towel-dry.
•    Soak tools in medical-grade disinfectant. (30 mins) - Towel-dry.
•    Place tools in UV Sterilizer (10 mins) then flip tools to sterilize other side (10 mins)
•    Seal tools in Sterile Pouches. Pouches are only opened infront of the client

To further ensure the sanitation of the manicure/pedicure procedure the nail files and nail buffers are disposed after one use. Buttercups also do not encourage cutting of cuticles as this can only make the skin more prone to infection.

Top 7 Churches In Cebu To Visit For Visita Iglesia

$

As the cradle of Christianity, Cebu has been a tourist destination and a center of Spanish Culture here in the Philippines. On this Holy Week, everybody is gearing up to join the yearly activity called Visita Iglesia or Seven Churches Visitation . Visita Iglesia is a pious Roman Catholic Lenten tradition by attempting to visit seven churches or religious sites. Traditionally observed on Maundy Thursday, it is commonly practised during any day of the Holy Week.(wikipedia)

Now, here is the list of amazing and top Churches in Cebu (Cities Only, Provinces are not included) which are recommended to be included for your Visita Iglesia for Holy Week 2014.

7. National Shrine of Saint Joseph in Mandaue City .

The church is greatly renovated. Removed were four large pillars that supported the cupola. These pillars appear in old photographs of the church interior. A statue of St. Joseph and the Child Jesus beside him is in the style of 18th century ivories and may be from Jesuit times. [wikipedia]

6. The National Shrine of Nuestra Sra. Virgen dela Regla Parish in Lapu-Lapu City (Birhen Sa Regla)

The original church was built during the Spanish times between the years 1735-1744 and was made of Mactan (coral) stone cut in square blocks and was only slightly damaged during the WW II. Unfortunately, the Dutch priests later assigned to the parish bypassed 200 years of history. Instead of repairing the damages, they had the church bulldozed in 1960 and built a totally new one made of plaster and concrete. The walls of the old (Mactan) coral stone church were so solid that, during the architectural massacre, the Dutch priest who ordered to have it demolished was said to have regretted the cultural carnage.

However, there is still a remainder of the old church, as proof of its solidity - the still existing convent built in 1855. It is a beautiful example of the Spanish colonial mission complex and is spacious and solid.

2. Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral in Cebu City

The Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral is the ecclesiastical seat of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Cebu in Cebu, Philippines. Cebu was established as a diocese on August 14, 1595. It was elevated as a metropolitan archdiocese on April 28, 1934 with the dioceses of Dumaguete, Maasin, Tagbilaran, and Talibon as suffragans. [wikipedia]

1. Minor Basilica of Sto. Niño de Cebu

The Minor Basilica of the Holy Child, commonly known as Basilica del Santo Niño, is a minor basilica in Cebu City in the Philippines that was founded in the 16th century. It is the oldest Roman Catholic church established in the country, purportedly built on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño de Cebú, a statue depicting the Holy Child Jesus was found in 1565 by Spanish explorers led by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi. The image is the same statue given by Ferdinand Magellan to the wife of Rajah Humabon as a gift over forty years after Humabon's baptism to Christianity on April 14, 1521 [Wikipedia]

The Resort says "Sea Turtle" but we only saw Sea and no Turtles were spotted! But to support the recovery of those affected Resorts in the Northern part of Cebu, I decided to bring my family and relatives for our Summer Outing at the Northeastern area in the "not-so-known"Sea Turtle Lagoon Resort. Located at Villanueva, Camoboan,Tabogon,Bogo. Sea Turtle Lagoon Resort was also damaged during that Haiyan (known as Typhoon Yolanda) devastation in the Visayas Region. The Resort is not for High Class but I recommend it to the people who love to chill in front of Cebu's Blue Seawater in an inexpensive way. And you can sing your heart out as Karaoke is available beside those cheap Cottages. Did I say they don't have Corkage fee? Yes, you can bring any foods and drinks - even Liquors and Beers!!
