Halloween Costumes In Cebu That Will Definitely Entertain Us

Before the most celebrated Holiday of all time, the Christmas Season, people all over the world had partied hard and did some trick-or-treating last October 31 as we feted All Hallows' Eve. As expected, part of this world-wide affair is the Halloween Costumesin which party goers were crazy in preparing their stuff, doing some make-up and most of all, practicing the right attitude of the character they disguised for that night.


Now, for a little History, Halloween costumes are traditionally modeled after supernatural figures such as vampires, monsters, ghosts, skeletons, witches, and devils. Over time, in the United States the costume selection extended to include popular characters from fiction, celebrities, and generic archetypes such as ninjas and princesses.[Wikipedia] And here in Cebu, our Cebuano friends were amazing in their Halloween Costumes that will surely entertain us every time we see their photos.

Now, aside from buying these tickets at the Sinulog Office, you can purchase it online. Here's how:
1. Visit Sinulog Payment Site (sinulogpayment.com)
2. Choose Grandstand Ticket and click SELECT OPTIONS
3. Choose your Ticket Color and click Add to Cart

Here's some notes and details about your ticket.

  1. Wear your Grandstand Ticket with accompanying ID string at all times inside the Grandstand. Please do not remove or replace string.
  2. Only children under one (1) year old are FREE of charge. Children above one (1) year old pay FULL price for Grandstand tickets.
  3. Grandstand Tickets are restricted to their corresponding colored area inside the grandstand.
  4. Wearing of Grandstand tickets outside the grandstand is prohibited. It does not merit entry to the Parade Route.
  5. Selling of Grandstand Tickets will start on December 1, 2014 and releasing will start on January 2, 2015 at Sinulog Office from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Please present printed order number and valid ID upon claiming.


Also, here's some information during the Sinulog Grand Parade Day.


  1. All roads around the carousel route will be blocked starting 5:00 in the morning of January 18, 2015.
  2. Entrance for grandstand spectators starts with tickets starts at 6:00 am on January 18, 2015.
  3. For your dining convenience, food stalls are available near the swimming pool. You may however bring your own food. Use plastic forks & spoons only. Bringing of bladed edge and metal utensils is not allowed.

Two Lovely Cebuanas In Binibining Pilipinas 2015

Yes, we got two entries to Binibining Pilipinas 2015! Last year, Cebu's Delegates to National Pageants did very well. Let's say some names - Ms. Jamie Herrell who was crowned as Miss Earth Philippines 2014 and the international crown itself, Miss Earth 2014. How about Steffi Aberasturi who was named as Reyna ng Aliwan 2014? Do Kris Tiffany Janson ring a bell? She did awesome at Binibining Pilipinas 2014 and won a crown of Bb. Pilipinas 2014 Intercontinental and internationally as Miss Intercontinental 2014 2nd Runner Up. How about Eva Psychee Patalinjug? She took Mutya ng Pilipinas Asia Pacific International 2014 title. And to mention the Male side of beauty pageant, our very own Judah Cohen was titled as Mister Tourism International Philippines 2014 and will soon contest in the international scene for Mister Tourism International 2015 in Panama. Indeed, Cebuanas/Cebuanos did very well in this Niche - beauty pageant! Now, who's excited to know our National bets for Binibining Pilipinas 2015?

First, we have Namrata Neesha Lucero Murjani who is Half-Indian and Half-Filipina (cebuana) who was named Miss Cebu 2013 during her 20th birthday. Her unique skin tone and killer smile are the keys to her journey on Binibining Pilipinas 2015 pageant. She is under Aces & Queens group and her beauty will surely stand out. By the way, Neesha looks like Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih,now that's a hint! XD

Then we have Rogelie Catacutanwho recently won Miss Casino Filipino 2014. She was groomed by Jonas Borces from team Kagandahang Flores Cebu for the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas 2015. She's 5’8″ tall and with that versatile face, she might have a place for a crown on this year's BB. Pilipinas. She was part of Top 12 Finalist of Miss World Philippines 2011 in which the crown was won by Gwendolyn Ruais.

On January 18, Sunday, Thousands of Devotees, Visitors, Tourists and Locals gathered to the Queen City of the South, Cebu City, to celebrate the Sinulog Festival. While everybody was busy on the Streets watching the Grand Parade or the presentations at the Cebu City Sports Complex, Four chosen Cebu Bloggers were invited to fly above and witnessed how Cebu look like during this much awaited event in Cebu, Sinulog Festival. Together with Bloggers of LamiKaayo.com , TheStyleCebu.com and CebuTechBlogger.com , FaceCebu.Net Blogger was given a chance to experience Sinulog above the Sky with the support from Globe Telecommunications and GreenHeli, a Helicopter Branch of Asian Aerospace Corporation operating nationwide in the Philippines, with bases in Manila, Boracay, Cebu and Clark.

When I founded Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. last February 14, 2008, I did not imagine that this organization will last long but what I felt that time was this family of Bloggers will make it through the years of hardships and problems. As a proof, this coming weekend, CBSi will celebrate our 7th year founding anniversary and we are glad Cebu City Marriott Hotel supports us to make this event a successful one.

Cebu Bloggers is my baby- our baby. Like a good father to his child, I make it a point to help it grow by making sure that all new blogging enthusiast are guided with the the same zeal and passion that I have and other members possess. I am trying my very best to be a good example to everyone by selflessly serving for the good of the organization and not just myself. Like any other organization, we have our ups and downs but I would like to remind everyone that these challenges shapes CBSi and I am proud that despite all of those we are still here celebrating our 7th anniversary and is heartily committed on delivering what really Blogging is in Cebu and that is helping out to the community (government, commerce and industry, non profit organization) the best way we can online without thinking what we get in return.

Traversing To Kawasan Falls From Osmena Peak With MYOH Havaianas Flip-Flops

Last weekend, we conquered the highest Peak of Cebu, Osmena Peak. With its distance of 1013 meters above sea level, hiking to the Peak is definitely easy but of course with observed caution. What exciting on that amazing day was FaceCebu.Net Author, Mark Monta, took the risk of wearing his #MYOH2014 Havaianas Slipper from hiking activity to Osmena Peak and of course, traversing from Osmena Peak to Kawasan Falls of Matutinao Badian, Cebu. The journey to this beautiful Nature's Water form was neither easy nor difficult for newbies or Hiking enthusiasts. Together with friends, We were able to arrive at this famous Falls in Southern Cebu after Four hours of extreme trekking and everyone went wild and the feeling of fulfillment was absolutely worth it.
