Earlier today, a video went viral in Social Media and it is not the "Entertainment-kind" of trending video - This is not good, bad influence to everybody and to the community. In this shot, a certain lad is filming himself while using an illegal drug which is commonly called "Shabu". And he looks so proud of himself. It was uploaded in Facebook by a certain user named Dolphy Quizon who is obviously not the late Actor and Comedy King Dolphy. It seems that Facebook Account was intentionally created just to upload the said video.

The account was created 11 hrs ago (as of this writing)

This fake Facebook Account (uploader) set his location in Cebu City.

If you wish to view it, make sure there is no youngsters around or better yet, report it to Facebook.

FaceCebu Blogger tried to get details by asking the person behind the Fake Facebook account and until now, we receive no feedback.

On January 13, Wednesday, Cebu will crown the most beautiful lady of the island as Miss Cebu 2016 will hold it's coronation night at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Cebu Hotel and Casino. The event will start at 6:30 in the evening.

Priced in PHP 120-140, these Shakes (Mango and Watermelon) are well done, there's no special about it but definitely can quench your thirst.

Grilled French Cut Pork Chops : Another fave of ours, well-cooked pork chop but we don't like the so sweet gravy. PHP 415.00

Buffalo Wild Wings (Classic heat soothing buttery seasoning with choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing ) Their normal serving is spicy and we love that. It can be enjoyed without sauce. PHP 385.00

Chicken Parmegiana (Tomato chutney, ham, mozarella, mixed leaves salad with a choice of fries or wedges) This one is my fave as I am a Chicken-lover. Ask the waiter to do it well (well cook) and as showed, it is best paired with French Fries and Vegetable salad. Personally, ask for spicy sauce and not the one normally served. PHP 465.00

SUGGESTIONS:
1. Go to Scape Skydeck before 6 pm to witness the dazzling Sunset View
2. If you are with group of friends, order at least 2-3 dishes for a number of 5-6 people.
3. Order a cup of rice if you are with group but if you're going alone or with a special someone, do not add rice to your course.
4. If the weather is good, dine outside - try their Al Fresco Area for a better view of Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue and cebu Cities.

Matteo leads new campaign

To help spread the word about the Sun Life Prosperity Card and to encourage more people to invest, SLAMCI’s financial literacy advocate Matteo Guidicelli will be spearheading the multi-media campaign.

“I am proud to be part of this campaign because I understand the importance of investing for the future and the value of financial freedom,” Matteo said. “With the Sun Life Prosperity Card, even the youth can easily start investing, because it’s easy to purchase and can be conveniently activated.”

To rally everyone to start investing, Matteo will be leading SLAMCI’s Rise and Prosper concert on February 8 at the Ayala Terraces in his hometown Cebu.

More new offerings in 2016

Apart from the Sun Life Prosperity Card, SLAMCI is also set to launch more new offerings as the year unfolds. Two new dollar-denominated funds will be introduced as the latest additions to the Sun Life Prosperity Funds, while a regular investment program will also be initiated in partner banks.

SLAMCI will also be enhancing its digital capabilities and further strengthening its presence in key cities nationwide. In the recent news of the "Manny Pacquiao" issues on LGBT , some Cebuanos gathered outside Cebu City Coliseum and burned their Nike Shoes in showing support to Philippines' boxing champion, Manny Pacquiao as he was dropped as endorser in the giant Sportswear Company.

Early this week, Nike announced dropping Pcman as their endorser. “We find Manny Pacquiao’s comments abhorrent. Nike strongly opposes discrimination of any kind and has a long history of supporting and standing up for the rights of the LGBT community. We no longer have a relationship with Manny Pacquiao.”

Last year, we sent two lovely Cebuanas to this pageant namely Rogelie Catacutan and Miss Cebu 2013 Namrata Neesha Murjani. At the end, only Rogelia Catacutan made it to top 5 bringing home the Miss Supranational 2015 tile. Bb. Pilipinas 2016 Coronation Night will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum and can be watched live at ABS-CBN Station.

Summer is always fun at McDonald’s with the annual Kiddie Crew Workshop! Registration is on-going so hurry and sign up your kids in over 400 participating McDonald’s stores nationwide.

Kiddie Crew members go through a fun-filled 5-day learning workshop that consists of activities that will help harness their sense of discipline, hard work, teamwork, responsibility, and sharing.

They learn what a real McDonald’s crew does at the front counter, drive thru, and they also do other lobby activities like greeting customers.

Kids can also look forward to learning how to make the all-time favorite McDonald’s Cheeseburger, plus enjoy some art sessions including the new activity—personalizing their own Kiddie Crew scrapbook.
