Last weekend, a group of talented Timex Philippines Employees attracted a number of Students, Visitors and Tourists in Fort San Pedro, Cebu City as they held their creative Outing with a colorful activity. With it's Mission of creating and developing an informative, productive and fun form of arts, Timex Art Club(TAC) decided to hold a unique event outside the Company via a "Do It Yourself" (DIY) affairs. TAC chose to show to the public how Art should be done by painting their Sneakers and Denims with their fave designs such as floral, tribal, cartoon characters or let it be inspired to the latest craze mobile game, Pokemon Go.

Last Friday, I visited again the beautiful island of Bohol to grace and attend a special Wedding event of my good friend. But I didn't know that part of it was to try the best Resto in town! To make the story short,Bohol Bloggers CollectiveFounder, Ms Jo Apat-Philips and her member, Sarah Ladeza contacted Ms Mary, the owner of "10:31 by Chef M" to reserve a table for me. Then the rest is all about my sumptuous Dinner - foods, appetizers, chicken and of course, desserts!!!

The Restaurant which is situated in the Center of Tagbilaran City gives a really good ambiance - it's like 10 Dove Street in Cebu. I came early 5 pm and I was greeted with a beautiful smile of their waitress and was amazed that my table is already ready knowing that the reservation was set at 6 PM. One point for that Chef M! Okay, Let's talk about their foods!

First, I ordered their Buffalo Wings. I was really thinking of Gibbs' version of Chicken Wings but this time, 10:31 serving of Buffalo Wings is really huge. I think it's good for 2-3 persons. Not to mention the taste, I bet they are the best in Bohol. One thing I noticed, that Buffalo Wings should have been served with mayo for dipping but I didn't remember anything about it. Anyway, its Home-made spicy sauce is not really spicy which is good for some taste buds out there. But I prefer very HOT and SPICY Buffalo wings! PHP 260.00

Their Pineapple Shakes is just normally thirst-quenching!

Next on my table is their Signature Salad, 10:31 Salad! Okay, this kind of salad is really green. It's like they serve a lot of Vegies like lettuce. with a little mixes of pan-grilled prawns and ripened balls of Mango. But mind you, that mango dressing really adds taste to the Salad which I almost cleaned the plate and finished the serving. PHP 220.00

And for the main dish, I really recommend you try Chef M's Roasted Chicken in just PHP 280 only. It's already half size chicken marinated with their signature spices and slow-roasted. I'd love the idea that they didn't serve any sauces since the gravy is already poured all over the Chicken. This serving has no side dishes like rice but it has marbled potatoes and cherry tomatoes which are very helpful to those who are on diet - protein diet.

And to end my delish dinner is the very sinful Molten Chocolate Surprise! It is served in a volcano-like presentation and then molted to sweetness with the help of hot cream. Inside of the chocolate coverings is Chef M's fudgy brownie topped with Vanilla Ice Cream, nuts and marshamallows. Love this one in just PHP 380.00

It was an early call time of 3 AM when sixteen CBS Bloggers gathered and waited for our ride to the beautiful island of Logon. Our weekend in Malapascua Island started with a homy breakfast prepared by the Hostel Owner himself. It was not that grand but good enough to be welcomed and felt home away from home.The amazing Malapascua Escapades with Cebu Bloggers commenced with the Island's familiarization and a mini-Islet Hopping. If you were there lately, you noticed that Yolanda's evidences of distruction are still there. But personally, Nature's treasures are still there. White sands stretching every seashores of the island. Hospitality of the Locals that warmth every Tourists and Visitors in the island. Various Resorts that offer different water sports and activities. I say, Malapascua Tourism is coming back to normal.

Of course, as always Tourists and even Locals prefer to suggest Lechon as the best food to try when you visit the beautiful island of Cebu. Luckily, Cebu Food Crawlers visited the newly launched Mactan AlFresco by The Mactan Newtown. Situated in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City, The Mactan Al Fresco is the center of celebrated Filipino or Cebuano Dishes. There are Lechon Restaurants available in Mactan Alfresco such as Ayer's Lechon which is operating in the Lechon Pit, Cebu's Original Lechon Belly and Ana's Lechon. If you're into Mexican Dishes, you can visit Mexi Mama there. If you wish to enjoy Cispy Tuna Buntot or Sizzling Tuna Sisig, now you need to go to Orange Karenderia. Oh! After that fulfilling Lechon fiesta, we headed to Mövenpick Hotel Mactan Island Cebu's Ibiza Beach Club for an afternoon siesta. Cebu Food Crawlers were amazed on the sea as it meets the sky while enjoying their drinks and finger foods offered by Ibiza. SIZZLING NIGHT AT EL VIENTO

We ended the first day with some sizzling surprises from our friends at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu! Favorites from El Viento Restaurant such as Sizzling Sisig, Sizzling Squid, Sizzling Gambas and Sizzling Beef Tips were prepared for Cebu Food Crawlers. Among the Four Days of Cebu Food Crawl 2016, the second day was tiring but fun! We started with an almost 2-hour Factory Tour at ProFood Gallery Mango Museum and got some chill afternoon at Cafe Jasmin. But the best part of that day were the unique way of Dining at Shangri-la Mactan Resort and Spa and the spicy night at Gibbs' Hot Wings.

BLINDFOLDING WHILE EATING

"Eat with your senses" said Ms Cassandra Cuevas, Shangri-la Mactan Resort And Spa Director Of Communications as she opened the unique dining at Cowrie Cove Restaurant. Indeed, Cebu Food Crawlers got excited on this unique style of enjoying one's dishes. It was a Four-Course Meal and started with a blindfolding as we tasted the appetizer with our tounge only. Everybody went crazy on their guesses and what were the flavors or ingredients they tasted. That happened everytime after dishes were served such as the Soup and Dessert. But we did a break as we need our sight to enjoy the main dish - the very juicy New Zealand Lamb Rack! Shangri-la Mactan surprised us as because the prepared dishes were purposely made for only on Cebu Food Crawl event. Normally, these dishes are not available in the Restaurant but creatively prepared for us.

The Restaurant is operated by on-hand chef and owner, Mr. Stan Stanchan who personally showed to Cebu Food Crawlers how to eat Shrimp in the right way. We were amazed how humble he is and he even ate them barehanded. The good thing about Choobi Choobi is the grow shrimps - the reason why they got the freshest shrimps and the dishes are fresh and delicious! But before we started, we were surprised by Jollibee Team's visit in their Barong and Saya outfits as it was Philippines National Heroes day. Then the showtime began! Food Crawlers were group to three and FaceCebu was part of team Pink, we called ourselves PINKachu!

So, the closing event was basically divided into 4-courses from different Restaurants! We were given a clearance form which we needed to get a stamp from Ayala Center Cebu team. All we needed to accomplish were to eat the dish, post it in social media with hastags #AyalaCenterCebu and #FoodPorn. Here's a summary of PINKachu's foodventure!

APPETIZER (Noun) - Food or drink to stimulate the appetite (usually served before a meal or as the first course)

A Focaccia was served in Italian Resto La Tegola, it's their signature appetizer! The cracker-like flat bread used to be salty but this time, it was just good and less salty which best paired with their tomato dip. For inquiries, call 032- 419 2220

Then we headed to Chika-an in Terraces branch. Chika-an sa Cebu is famous on their Crispy Pata and some seafood dishes. This time we were treated with fave soup, Pochero With Meat. And then the main dishes were served. PINKachu team was so lucky to experience dinner at Cebu's fave Resto, Casa Verde. It was just near from our previous restaurant so we came excited! Their signature and best seller dishes were prepared in our table. We got a really juicy Brian's Ribs, The Dax (Round steak) , David Dean's Tenderloin ( steak on top of a mound of mashed potatoes and topped with cheese) and the giant Mighty Ton (12-inch bun with all the trimmings of 125 grams of bacon, an overload of american cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sauteed onions and mushrooms and paired with choice of barbecue, cheese or sour cream fries.)

It was heavenly fudge! We ended our progressive dinner at Brique with their signature dessert, Fudge Smores. Best served when hot, Fudge Smores can best paired with coffee. The Fudge wasn't the sweet but I love it.

It seems like Cebu Food Crawlhas been extended today. Last February, Top Silog Districtopened its door to Locals and Tourists of Mactan with their tapsilogan dishes.
